Di s play Device - Configure: The options in the Display Device - Configure menu allow
you to change the picture orientation, perform lens adjustments or access other,
display-device specific functions.
• In s tallation – Orientation: Select Installation from the Display Device - Configure
menu, then select Orientation to change the picture orientation to suit the method of
installation (Floor Front, Floor Rear, Ceiling Front or Ceiling Rear).
• In s tallation – Vertical Key s tone: Projector placement and other factors can cause
geometric distortion in the projected image. To correct this, select Vertical Keystone
from the Installation menu and use the
or button to make the image rectangular.

• Len s : Select Lens from the Display Device - Configure menu to access the motorized
lens controls. Refer to Primary Lens Adjustments on page 41.
• Lamp Info: Select Lamp Info from the Display Device - Configure menu to obtain
information about the currently-installed lamp: its serial number and number of hours in
use.
Runco recommends that the keystone feature not be used unless
absolutely necessary, as it may cause artifacts in the image.
You can also obtain this information using the VX-44d/-55d built-in
keypad. For more information, refer to
Working With the Lamp
on page 49.
