Access density and processing capability
Each SIC slot respectively supports up to four non-channelized E1, four ISDN U or S/T interfaces, four sync serial
interfaces, 32 asyn serial interfaces to provide the high-density remote OA solution, 24 Layer-3 switching Ethernet
interfaces, 2 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, and 2SFP ports (fiber/copper combo ports, the SFP can be compatible with
100M/1000M), and one FUNC multi-functional button to upgrade the RGOS operating system in the SD card or USB
storage device into the device. The E1 interface complies with ITU-T G.703; the ISDN U interface complies with ITU-T
G.961 ANSI T1.601, and the ISDN S/T interface complies with ITU-T I.430. The sync serial port can connect the networks
such as DDN, frame relay, and X.25. These make the router suitable as an access router for large/medium-sized
branches.
