Alarms
RMON > Alarms
The Alarms menu item sets and displays switch alarms.
Alarms Settings
■
Alarm Entry: Sets the alarm group index. May be 1 to 65535.
■
Alarm Variable: Enters a comment describing the event. May be up to 127 characters.
■
Sample Type: Sets the method used for sampling the selected variable and calculating
the value to be compared against the thresholds. May be absolute (default) or delta.
■
Startup Alarm: Selects whether to use rising (default) or falling startup alarms.
■
Rising Threshold: Sets the rising threshold.
■
Rising Event: Sets the event index used when a rising threshold is crossed.
■
Falling Threshold: Sets the falling threshold.
■
Falling Event: Sets the event index used when a falling threshold is crossed.
■
Interval: Specifies the interval in seconds during which the data is sampled and
compared with rising and falling thresholds. May be 1 to 4294967295 seconds.
■
Owner: Sets the RMON alarm group owner name.
Alarms Table: Displays all alarm events on the switch. You may also delete entries.
