Software Update

Manual | TouchMonitor TM7/TM9

If you want to update your software, please proceed as follows:

 

1.  Copy the update file(s) (*-tm-release-n-n.tgz and/or *-tm-fw-n-n.

bin, n-n: firmware version) into the main directory of a USB stick.

2. 

Unmount

 the USB stick from the computer system! Not till then 

remove it from your computer!

 

ATTENTION! -

 Unmounting from the computer system 

shall be performed to avoid damage of the copied update file!

3.  Remove the unmounted USB stick from your computer and insert 

it to one of the USB ports on the rear panel of the TouchMonitor.

7.  Touch the key. The update starts and takes about 10 minutes.

8.  When the update is finished, the TouchMonitor reboots auto-

matically.

4.  If not visible, touch the empty space of the screen to display the 

control bar.

5.  Touch the 

Menu

 key in the right section of the control bar, then 

the 

System

 key in the 

Main Menu

.

6.  Touch the 

Special

 key. The additional 

Start Firmware Update: 

*-tm-release-n-n

 resp. 

*-tm-fw-n-n 

key is displayed.
