Peakmeter 11528G Series
Introduction Page 4-1
The digital Peakmeter 11528G is designed for use in radio and TV broadca-
sting applications. The DSP based instrument is housed in a compact metal
case. It features AES/EBU in- and outputs. The scale is ranged from 60 to
+9 dB. The reference mark 0 dB is adjusted to the digital level of 9 dB FS.
The headroom is red marked similar to analog instruments. The signals are
displayed on a high resolution gas plasma display with 201 segments per
channel both once without any weighting (sample-precise display) and once
highlighted and super-imposed with an integration time of 10 ms (see Fig.
4-2, example 1). Alternatively the sample-precise peak level display with the
highlighted and super-imposed RTW loudness display can be selected (see
Fig. 4-2, example 2). Using the external function control additionally it is
possible to use the 10 ms only function showing the peak level with an inte-
gration time of 10 ms independent from the position of the switch L/10 ms
on the front panel (see Fig. 4-1, example 3).
