Connect to audio source (e.g. DVD player/TV).

Connect to audio source (e.g. Satellite box/TV).

Transmitter Power

Connect the supplied USB to Barrel Jack adapter cable into this port and 

connect to a 2A USB socket on the audio source via a USB cable (e.g. TV).

Cat5e Out

Wire to the AXR-1 Receiver via a Cat5e/6 cable. The corner LEDs 

indicate when connected correctly; Signal LED = audio passing through,  

Power LED = power connected.

Cat5e In

Wire to the AXT-1 Transmitter via a Cat5e/6 cable. The corner LEDs

indicate when connected correctly; Power LED = power connected, 

Signal LED = audio passing through.

Receiver Power

Use the supplied 5VDC/2Amp power supply.

Coax Out

Connect to audio output device (e.g. AV Receiver)

INITIAL SETUP

• 

On the AXT-1 Transmitter, plug in coax or optical cable between audio source device (e.g. TV) into the 

selected S/PDIF or Coax port.

• 

Plug in coax or optical cable between your audio output device (e.g. AV Receiver) into the AXR-1 receiver’s 

selected S/PDIF or Coax port.

• 

Ensure selector switch on the AXT-1 is in the correct position for the audio source being used.

• 

Connect a CAT5e/6 cable between the AXT-1 Transmitter and AXR-1 Receiver.

• 

Connect included USB to 5VDC Power Adapter to the AXT-1 and a USB cable wired to the audio output 

source (e.g. TV). 

• 

Connect power supply to AXR-1 Receiver.

• 

A green LED on the Cat5e port will illuminate when power is connected.

• 

An amber LED on the Cat5e port will illuminate if audio is passing through the extender set.

• 

NOTE: Both the AXR-1 and AXT-1 must be powered. The power supply may be connected to either the 

AXR-1 or AXT-1, but power is not supplied to the other device via PoE.
