GPS Configuration
RTD configures the BD970 GPS module differently than Trimble. If the BD970 was purchased from RTD, it comes configured with the following
settings:
•
The default username and password are
admin
and
Trimb!eGP$
, respectively.
•
The CAN bus is enabled.
•
GPS messages are enabled:
o
I/O Config
→
COM1

GGA
to 1Hz
▪
RMC
to 1Hz
▪
Legacy Talker ID
enabled

CAN

GGA
to 1Hz
If the BD970 was purchased directly from Trimble, check the Trimble website (
