3.  Unpacking and installation 

 

The scanner is shipped with a transportation lock, 
follow the instructions on the lock to remove it. 

 

Place the scanner at the point of use. 

Place the scanner level on a solid flat surface. 

Do not place under direct lighting or sunlight. 

Unlock the clips from the scanner cover. 

 

Remove the cover. 

 

Unfold the support legs to transform the cover 
into the support step. 

 

Place the support step next to the scanner for 
measurements in full weight bearing conditions. 

Note: the support step can be placed underneath 
the scanner with the front set of legs folded to 
allow measurements to be taken with a seated 
subject under partially weight bearing condition. 

 

 

The scanner can be set vertical for measurement 
in a non-weight bearing condition.
