DONNING YOUR HELMET
Once you have completed the set up, you are ready to fit your RPB

Z-LINK

Respirator.
Firstly check inside the helmet to ensure that it is free of dust, dirt or contaminants. Then
open the bottom of the cape or face seal, with the air flowing from the air source, put the
respirator onto your head. Pull the cape down or make sure the face seal is sealing around
your face/neck, then tighten the head harness ratchet to fit. Make sure the visor is securely
latched.
DOFFING YOUR HELMET
When you have finished working, keep the respirator on with air flowing into the helmet until
you have left the contaminated area. Depending on the contaminants, it may be advisable
to clean the exterior of the helmet and your work garments before removing the respirator. A
workplace cleaning program may be necessary.
DONNING AND DOFFING
