LOW AIRFLOW ALARM
A continuous alarm sounds when the airflow to the hood falls
below the minimum requirement of 6cfm (170slpm) for more
than 5-10 seconds in duration.
Leave the work area to check the filter for blockage or
anything obstructing the air path to the head-top. If the filter
is blocked due to contaminants, replace the filter with a new
one.
LOW BATTERY CHARGE
ALARM
A pulsing alarm sounds when approximately 10-15 minutes
of charge is left in the battery. Leave the work area. Power
the unit off and remove the battery and place on the charger,
if you have a second battery you can insert it into the device
to continue operation. The pulsing alarm will also sound if
the battery is overheating. If the unit is operated outside the
operating temperature range for 10 minutes the battery alarm
will activate.
Alarm volume is 85 dBA at 4” (104mm).
