POWER OFF: Press and hold the power
button (for about 1 second) and the unit will
turn off.
The power button is on the right side of the
unit as you look at the front of the PX4 AIR
®
.
POWER ON: Press and hold the power button
(for about 1 second). Note the unit will always
start up in the low speed setting and should
reach nominal flow within 5-10 seconds.
Allow the unit to warm up for 5 minutes or
until the flow meter (04-091) is in the safe
range before use, so that there is sufficient
air flow.
POWER BUTTON AND BATTERY INDICATION
The top row of green lights indicate the
charge of the battery. 3 lights is fully charged.
1 light means the battery is getting low. When
it is time to change or charge the battery,
there will be 1 light flashing alternately green
and red.
When the battery is out of charge the top
row of lights will flash red and the alarm
will sound. Immediately return to a safe
environment and remove the respirator and
change/charge the battery.
