Chapter 5  Contacts Management

This chapter discusses the basic functions of Contacts on the RNS-3200 PND 
device. Details on how to perform contacts management tasks from your com-
puter is also provided.

 Contact files imported/exported to and from your device and computer are 
saved in .fs format.

5.1

Contacts

Contacts maintains a list of your friends’ and colleagues’ contact information. 
These include their email address, street address, multiple phone numbers, and 
other related information, such as birthday or anniversary dates.
You can enter multiple address entries for each contact. This program is inte-
grated with GPS navigation enabling users to treat all address entries as possi-
ble destination points in navigation mode.

To open Contacts: 

The control pad displays the list of contacts and several command buttons for 
performing various Contacts tasks. 

1. Tap on the Main Menu panel. The Contacts control pad displays.
