Rotating brush could
cause area rug fringe to become tangled within cleaner.

• Turn Quick Cord Release for easy cord
removal.
• Plug cord into electrical outlet.
• Store cord in cord guide (see Features -
pg. 4) to keep out of way while in use.

brush off the carpet when
cleaning above the floor. Put
cleaner in its upright position.
Suction is automatically
diverted to hose when unit is
in upright position. Remove
hose from the side of the
cleaner using the handle.

Remove crevice tool
and extension wand
for above-the-floor
cleaning.

wand and fit on end of
wand for additional
reach.
NOTE:
DO NOT
use crevice tool while in
extension wand.

PAPER BAG: REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT

You can tell your bag needs replacing when you experience less suction or when the Full Bag Indicator
changes to yellow. Do not exceed marked fill line on paper bag. Different types of dirt may require bag
replacement more often.

HEPA filter, part # 3-690320-001, is located on the side of cleaner.
NOTE:
Unplug cleaner before changing filter.

For best performance, replace filter yearly.
HEPA FILTER: REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT
Loosen screw: the one (1)
screw at the top of filter cover.
NOTE:
To prevent misplacing
screw, do not take screw
completely out of filter cover.
Grasp HEPA filter cartridge
and remove.

DO NOT CLEAN WITH WATER.
