4 Using the accessories

Connect the suction hose (Fig. 14/1) with the connect-
ing tube on the handle of the telescopic tube (Fig. 14/2)
as shown.
The retaining clip of the suction tube (Fig. 14/1) has to
be pushed over the brim on the handle and lock into
place visibly.

Now put the chosen nozzle supplied onto the telescopic
tube (Fig. 15).
5.
Insert the mains plug into a socket with ground/safety
contact.
6.
Switch on the appliance with the on/off switch ("

You can now vacuum clean with the accessory you
have just attached. Observe the instructions under
Z
Chapter 4.3, "Vacuum cleaning using the accesso-
ries"
for this.

NOTE:
To make sure it sits securely, we recommend turning it
slightly when putting it on.

WARNING:
Danger of injury! Especially when vacuum-cleaning stairs
make sure that you always stand on a higher level than
the appliance.
ATTENTION:
Hold the device in your hand as shown (Fig. 16) when
you don't want to use it as an upright vacuum cleaner.
Otherwise there is a danger of the device falling over and
getting damaged.
