Installation instructions and tips for Royal Rascals® Lockable Baby Car Mirror
Thank you for purchasing our Royal Rascals® Lockable Baby Car Mirror, we think you’ve made a great
choice!
Below are some important tips to help install your Royal Rascals® Lockable Baby Car Mirror perfectly.
There are two options below, Option 1 being the most common.
OPTION 1:
1.
Remove the Royal Rascals® Lockable Baby Safe Mirror from the box.
Tip 1:
Leave the protective film on the mirror until after you’ve installed it. This will help
reduce finger marks from day one and keep the reflection crystal clear.
Tip 2:
Ensure that both buckles are unclipped before attempting to install.

Clip one strap around the headrest and tighten until secure.
3.
Repeat with the second strap as per Step 2.
4.
Double check that both straps are tightened sufficiently.
Tip 1:
Do not overly tighten – just enough so that the mirror is securely held in place.
Tip 2:
Check that both straps are not twisted.
Tip 3:
Buckles are best located near the centre of the headrest and not on the edge – see
image below.

Once your Royal Rascals® Lockable Baby Safe Mirror is securely fastened, test the mirror’s
angle by turning and tilting it until it is positioned so you can see your baby when in the
driving seat. Note: You may need to test this a couple of times until you get the right angle.
6.
Once you have the perfect angle to see your baby, lock the mirror into position by tightening
the lock nut anti-clockwise until the mirror is stable (do not over-tighten). This will help
prevent you accidentally knocking the mirror out of position when taking your baby out of the
car.
