3. USE GUIDELINES
The icing machine produces ice in the form of cubes in two
sizes.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
•
staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other
working environments;
•
farm houses;
•
by clients in hotels, motels, etc.;
•
bed and breakfasts or boarding houses.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.
3.1. DEVICE DESCRIPTION
Use
1.
Once the icemaker is connected to the power source,
it goes into standby mode, and the LED informing
that the icemaker is switched on will light up and
blink.
2.
To use the icemaker, press and hold the on/off
button, the LED informing that the icemaker is
switched on will be lit up but it will not blink
3.
Remove the ice tray, pour the water in, not exceeding
the MAX level, press and hold the ON/OFF switch.
4.
Select the ice cubes size using the SELECT button,
the LED will inform you about the current choice of
cube size.
5.
To turn off the icemaker, press and hold the On/Off
button.
6.
When the operation is finished, drain the water tank
by pulling out the drain plug.

PLEASE NOTE:
The first three batches of ice may
produce cubes in irregular shapes and sizes,
regardless of the size selected on the control panel.
•
PLEASE NOTE
: The ice tray filled with ice should not
serve the user for be longer than one day.
•
PLEASE NOTE: Replace water at least once a day.
•
PLEASE NOTE: After restarting the icemaker, the
compressor may be airlocked, the LED informing
about the lack of water informs about it. Should it
happen, press and hold the On/Off button.
•
PLEASE NOTE: If the compressor is blocked (in case
of shortage of water, total flooding of the device or
power shortage), the auto start will be delayed by 3
minutes after restarting.
•
PLEASE NOTE: Select the small ice cubes mode (S)
when the ambient temperature is below 15°C. When
the ambient temperature is higher than 30°C, it is
recommended to select the large ice cube size.
•
PLEASE NOTE: When the ice tray is full, remove
excess ice without delay. Do not allow the ice tray to
overflow
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a) Before every cleaning, adjustment, exchange of
accessories, and if the device is not in use, unplug it
and wait for it to reach room temperature.
b)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
c)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
d)
Never spray the device with water.
e)
Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
f)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
g)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
h)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
i)
Use food-grade and non-scratch cleaning utensils.
Do not use sharp and metal objects.
j)
Do not clean the device with an acidic substance,
agents of medical purposes, thinners, fuel, oils or
other chemical substances because it may damage
the device.
k)
Use a solution of water and vinegar only to clean the
internal and external surface of the icemaker.
l)
Do not use any mechanical, electrical or other
devices which accelerate thawing the icemaker.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is being used. There should be at least 10 cm distance
between each side of the device and the wall or other
objects. Keep the device away from hot surfaces. Operate
the device on an even, stable, clean, fire-proof and dry
surface and out of the reach of children and persons with
mental disabilities. Position the device such that you always
have access to the power plug. The power cord connected
to the appliance must be properly grounded and
correspond to the technical details on the product label.
Disassemble the device and all its components and clean
them before the first use.
3.3. DEVICE USE
Before use
1.
After you have unpacked the device, check it for
visible mechanical damages.
2.
After setting the icemaker in the intended place of
use, open the transparent cover and refrain from
using it for two hours.
3.
Clean the device.
Cleaning procedure:
• Pour water into the tank up to the level marked
MAX and rinse it. Then, remove the drain plug
and drain the water.
• Replace the drain plug
• Connect the device to a power source; pour
water into the reservoir up to the level marked
MAX.
• Press and hold the SELECT button for three
seconds, the internal cleaning mechanism will
start. The icemaker will pump the water five
times in thirty second bursts. Then, the device
goes into standby mode
•
When you have finished cleaning, remove the
drain plug and drain the water.
• Replace the drain plug.

b)
The device can be handled only by physically fit
persons who are capable of handling it, properly
trained, familiar with this manual and trained within
the scope of occupational health and safety.
c)
The device is not designed to be handled by persons
(including children) with limited mental and sensory
functions or persons lacking relevant experience
and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or they have
received instruction on how to operate the device.
d)
Do not overestimate your abilities. When using the
device, keep your balance and remain stable at all
times. This will ensure better control over the device
in unexpected situations.
e)
The device is not a toy. Children must be supervised
to ensure that they do not play with the device.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a) Do not overload the device. Use the appropriate
tools for the given task. A correctly-selected device
will perform the task for which it was designed better
and in a safer manner.
b) Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does
not function properly (does not switch the device
on and off). Devices which cannot be switched on
and off using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous,
should not be operated and must be repaired.
Disconnect the device from the power supply
before commencement of adjustment, cleaning and
maintenance. Such a preventive measure reduces
the risk of accidental activation.
c)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
d) Keep the device in perfect technical condition.
Before each use check for general damage and
especially check for cracked parts or elements and
for any other conditions which may impact the safe
operation of the device. If damage is discovered,
hand over the device for repair before use.
e)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
f)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
g)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory-fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
h)
When transporting and handling the device between
the warehouse and the destination, observe the
occupational health and safety principles for manual
transport operations which apply in the country
where the device will be used.
i)
Do not touch articulated parts or accessories unless
the device has been disconnected from the power
source.
j)
Do not move, adjust or rotate the device in the
course of work.
k)
Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in
use.
l)
Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime
from accumulating.
m) The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
may not be carried out by children without
supervision by an adult person.
n) Do not expose the device to sunlight and do not
place it in the vicinity of heat sources.
o)
To avoid damage to the compressor, wait for at least
five minutes before you press the power button after
you have once pressed it.
p)
Use only spring water to make ice cubes.
q)
To avoid fire and short circuits, do not place metal
components or electrical devices inside the device
chamber.
r)
The device should be stored, used and transported
only in a horizontal position. DO NOT tilt the device
at an angle greater than 45°.
s)
Only use inside.
t) It is not allowed to store potentially explosive
substances in the appliance, e.g.: cans containing
compressed flammable gas.
u)
PLEASE NOTE The device contains flammable
substances. Consequently, it should be handed over
for disposal to specialists when its service life is over.
v)
Take care not to damage any parts of the device,
in particular those containing the refrigerant. If the
refrigerant comes into contact with the user’s eyes, it
may cause serious eye damage.
ATTENTION!
Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.
