Operating the appliance
Before operating this appliance, verify the installation process has been correctly
done and connect the power cord plug to a mains outlet. Refer to the device
parameters and functions. Turn on the appliance and set the desired parameters
as described below. Start the operation by running the stirrer drive unit: you can
switch the compartment cleaning on/off key (“CLEAN/STOP”) (d) to “CLEAN” or
start the stirrer drive unit with refrigeration by switching the batch cooling on/off
key (“AUTO/STOP”) (c) to “AUTO”. When done, unplug the appliance from the
mains.
CAUTION! This appliance features an overcurrent trip. If the current load of the
appliance reaches its trip limit, the the drive unit will automatically stop to ensure
safety.
3.3.1.
RUNNING TIME SETTINGS
The default running time is set to 30 minutes. Modifying the running time setting:
a)
Press and hold the increase setting key (“HARD”) (a) for approx. 5 seconds. The
appliance control system enters the setting mode.
b)
The LCD display will cycle through the parameters.
c)
Operate the setting keys (a) and (b) to specify the desired running time. Each
selection of the value returns a beep.
d)
CAUTION! The user can enter the setting in 1-minute increments. A single
press of either of the setting keys changes the value by 1 minute. Pressing and
holding a setting key scrolls through the setting values.
e)
You can set the running time anywhere from 5 minutes to 50 minutes.
f)
CAUTION! A longer running time setting results in a harder batch.
3.3.2.
CLEANING THE REFRIGERATING COMPARTMENT
Before operating the appliance and finishing the operation, always clean the
refrigerating compartment and its parts. The procedure:
a)
Fill the refrigerating compartment (11) with water. Lift the feeder chute guard
(12) and feed the required volume of cleaning detergent through the inlet.
Secure the feeder chute by replacing the guard (12).
b)
Switch the compartment cleaning on/off key (“CLEAN/STOP”) (d) to “CLEAN”.
The LED indicator (f) comes on.
c)
A correct cleaning cycle needs at least 3 minutes to run.
d)
When done cleaning, stop the cleaning mode by switching the compartment
cleaning on/off key (“CLEAN/STOP”) (d) to “STOP”. The LED indicator (f) will go
off.
e)
Remove the dispensing port guard (8). Allow the wash water to drain from the
compartment. Once empty, reinstall the dispensing port guard (8).
f)
Repeat the cleaning steps above 2-3 times.
g)
Remove the refrigerating compartment door (3) and the stirrer (5). Clean the
parts with a dedicated food-approved detergent.
