TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Switch off the main switch first.
Use personal protective equipment.
DANGER
ACTIONS IN GREY BACKGROUND MUST BE DONE BY A TECHNICALLY TRAINED PERSON.
First remove each element that can obstruct a safe operation of
the system.

1.
Egg belt is too long. a. Egg belt tensioner.
- Tension / tighten the spring.
- If this does not help: shorten egg belt.
b. Egg belt is stretched too far.
- Shorten egg belt.
2.
Egg belt runs
askew.
a. Adjustment at drive unit is not O.K.
- Adjust loaded egg belt by moving plate
with bearing.
b. Egg belt tension set.
- Adjust conduction pieces on axis.
c. Dirt in return unit.
- Clean.
3.
Egg belt slips.
a. Insufficient pressure by press
cylinder.
- Tighten by bearing press cylinder.
b. Too much eggs on egg belt.
No daily egg collection.
- Remove eggs manually.
4.
Egg belt is torn.
a. Mechanical blockade.
- Remove cause of blockade.
- Weld the egg belt again.
b. Welding is partially detached.
- Repair or weld the egg belt again.
c. “Foreign object” in egg belt.
- Remove object and weld the egg belt
again.
d. Fingers are not adjusted correctly,
grasped in egg belt.
- Adjust.
5.
Drive unit slips.
a. Too little pressure by press cylinder. - Tighten by bearing press cylinder.
6.
Motor egg belt
drive unit does not
rotate.
a. Motor is overloaded.
b. Motor is too warm.
- Check inverter.
- Unload.
- Remove dust.
7.
Chain motor egg
belt drive unit
jumps over teeth of
the gear.
a. Chain is too long.
- Tighten chain.
b. Too much load because of too many
eggs.
- Remove eggs manually.
8.
Opening system
does not operate.
a. Nest is not open enough or not
closed enough.
- Adjust switches.
b. Movable back:
Nest does not open or close.
- Put switch into the correct position
(automatically).
- Check mechanical position of the arms.
c. Tilting floor:
All nests do not open or close.
- All strings are not in correct position:
adjust.
- Floors are not in correct position: adjust.
- Put switch into the correct position
(automatically).
- Cable passed: place cable back.
- Clip is broken: replace clip.
d. Some nests do not open or close.
- Strings are not in correct position: adjust.
9.
Conveyor does not
run.
a. Chain is too short or too long.
- Put switch into the correct position
(automatically).
- Adjust and / or shorten.
10.
Movable back
does not function.
a. Nest does not open or close.
- Put switch into the correct position
(automatically).
- Check mechanical position of the arms.
b. Motor opening system movable
back does not rotate.
- Check thermal-magnetic motor protection
in CCP.
