MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT:
• This type of appliance requires regular and thorough maintenance. Like for any humidifier with
stagnant water, we recommend to clean approximately every 1-2 weeks (depending on use) to
avoid bacteria proliferation.
• Regular cleaning of the ceramic disk will avoid scaling.
• You must always switch off and unplug your appliance before undertaking any maintenance on it.

It is important to clean the water tank, the vaporisation area (around the ceramic disk) and the intake
grills located under the appliance regularly.

• Cleaning the tank:

1- Remove the demineralization cartridge and rinse it in fresh tap water only.
2- Clean the tank and the tank stopper using soapy water and dry it with a soft dry rag.
3- To clean the inside of the tank, pour a little water into it and shake vigorously. Empty and dry with
a soft dry rag.

• Cleaning the vaporisation compartment:

1- Remove the tank.
2- Fill the vaporisation compartment half with water and half with white vinegar (4% acetic acid).
3- Leave the mixture for a minimum of 4 hours so that it can take effect.
4- Empty and remove the scale using a soft damp rag.
5- Rinse out the whole of the compartment with fresh tap water (Important, make sure that no water
gets into the blower opening (10).

CAUTION:
• Never use detergents, scouring products or abrasive cleaners for cleaning the appliance as these are
likely to spoil the appearance of your device. Instead, clean your appliance with a slightly moist rag.
• Never use hard or abrasive ustensils to clean the ceramic disk so as not to damage it.
• Never immerse the base of the appliance, the power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

• Demineralization cartridge:

On average the demineralization cartridge should be replaced every 1 to 3 months. This interval can
be shorter or longer depending on the hardness of the water. White dust around the appliance is a
sure sign that the cartridge needs replacing.

*Kills 100% of Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus bacteria representing most of the bacteria known to
exist after 30 minutes of use - under normal conditions of use – tests carried out by an independent laboratory.
