• Above all never place the appliance under your stomach. It is intended for use on the back , nape of the neck and
the lumbar region only!
• Do not use the appliance on areas with severe acne , redness or other skin complaints. If you experience any pain or
discomfort , stop the treatment at once.
• The appliance has a hot surface. Those insensitive to heat should use the appliance with caution.
3 - USE
Important! In order for the massage mechanism to function, it is essential that you remove the transport screw located
on the back of the appliance using the hexagonal spanner before using the appliance. If you fail to remove the screw the
appliance will be irreparably damaged.
Do not try to replace the screw after having removed it, throw it away.
1. Attach the massage seat to a chair using the strap intended for this purpose located at the back of the seat. For your
comfort, we recommend that you place the massage seat on a chair with a slightly inclined back rest.
2. Connect the power pack (h) to the seat cord (c). Plug into the mains (Figure 1).
3. Sit comfortably. Press the "On/Off" switch (1) on the remote control (the indicator (2) will light up red) and select one
of the two programmes: ENERGY (5) or RELAX (3) or compose you own massage session with the SHIATZU massage
(zone 7).
For a more intense massage, you can remove the seat protector that covers the mechanism (Figure 2).
Note: when first using the appliance, certain tension points may be painful. If this is the case, change your position on
the seat until the massage is pleasant.
To stop the appliance:
4. Press the "On/Off" switch (1). The red indicator light will flash while the mechanism returns to its initial position, and
then goes off (the indicator (2) goes off).
5. Disconnect the plug (h) from the mains supply in order to ensure that the mechanism cannot be accidentally reactiva-
ted.
4. RELAX PROGRAMME
This 30-minute programme has been specially created to provide you with a long relaxing massage session for total
wellbeing.
1. Press the RELAX switch (3) to commence the programme (the indicator light (4) will come on). There will be alterna-
ting phases of massage, heat and relaxing music. To stop the RELAX programme, press the RELAX switch (3) a second
time.
Note:The function programme does not allow you to modify the massage parameters (speed, heat, zone) or to plug in
your MP3 player.
You can change the music, however. You can increase the volume (25) or reduce it (24) as well as selecting the music you
wish to listen to using switches 22 and 23.
5. ENERGY PROGRAMME
This 15-minute programme has been specially created to provide you with a stimulating massage, an excellent source of
energy and vitality.
1. Press the ENERGY switch (5) to commence the programme (the indicator light (6) will come on). There will be alterna-
ting phases of massage, vibrations and stimulating music. To stop the ENERGY programme, press the ENERGY switch (5)
a second time.
Note:The function programme does not allow you to modify the massage parameters (speed, heat, zone) or to plug in
your MP3 player.
You can change the music, however. You can increase the volume (25) or reduce it (24) as well as selecting the music you
wish to listen to using switches 22 and 23.
6. SHIATSU MASSAGE
To begin the personalised massage session, select the zone you wish to be massaged.
UPPER (8): SHIATSU massage from the middle of the back to the top of the back.
LOWER (10): SHIATSU massage from the middle of the back to the bottom of the back.
BACK (12): SHIATSU massage of the entire back, from top to bottom and bottom to top.
SPEED VARIATION
You can alter the speed of the massage to suit your own sensitivity. To increase the speed, press the upper arrow on the
SPEED switch (14). To reduce the speed, press the lower arrow on the SPEED switch (15).
Note: Speed may only be varied with the SHIATSU massage.
