then disconnect the adaptor lead from the appliance. When you unplug the adap-
tor the charge indicator lights (6) light up for a few seconds and then go out.
The charging indicator lights (6) light up when the on / off switch is pressed and
show the battery level while the appliance is being used. When the battery level is
too low the minimum charge indicator light flashes. When the battery is comple-
tely flat the appliance stops and the minimum charge indicator light (6) flashes for
a few seconds. The appliance must be recharged before it can be used again.
4 - Use
• Caution:
the appliance will not work while it is connected to the mains power
supply. When your epilator is charged and unplugged you can use it on wet skin,
even in the shower (shaver and trimmer) or the bath (epilator). Begin by soaping
your skin to soften it and open the pores fully. Rinse. You can then use the epilator.
IMPORTANT: Before using the appliance, always make sure that it is unplugged.
5 - Removing hair from legs
Your appliance is equipped with a patented swiveling head that ensures optimal
contact with your skin (fig. 1).
This head is perfectly adapted to all of the shaving areas, even the hardest-to-
reach places (knees, underarms, bikini line) to remove as much hair as possible in
one movement, even down to the shortest hair (from 0.5mm).
- Select speed (fast or soft) (fig. 2).
- Move the epilator gently against the direction of hair growth without pressing
down (fig. 3).
6 - Using the epilator in sensitive areas
We recommend you to use the “sensitive areas” attachment when you remove hair
from the under-arm and bikini contour areas.
This accessory has been designed to reduce the number of tweezers gripping your
hair, so that hair removal is smooth and painless.
- For the best results we recommend you to position your epilator on your skin, til-
ting it in the direction of movement, as shown in the diagram.
• Preparation of the area for epilation:
- Cut any hairs which are too long (over 1 cm).
• Use on dry skin: if you prefer, you can use your appliance on dry skin.
• Follow these simple recommendations:
- Dry your skin thoroughly and remove any traces of deodorant or sweat.
• Do not apply any cream or moisturising products before epilation.
• You are recommended to use the epilator as soon as the hair begins to grow back.
• If you have previously used a razor, you may find that in the first epilation ses-
sions your skin seems more sensitive, as the hair will have become thicker and
stronger as a result of shaving. This sensation will fade as you continue to use your
