IMPORTANT: Do not use any alcohol on the body of the appliance as this will
have a detrimental effect on the colours.
10 - Lubricating the bikini-line head (supplied with certain
models)
So that your appliance continues to give good results, it is essential to oil the
blades regularly (especially after washing them) with the lubricant supplied,
or with sewing machine oil. Turn off the appliance and unplug it.
Clean the cutting head with the brush. Oil the blades: a single drop is enough
(fig. 29). Operate the trimmer for a few seconds.
11 - Skin care
Use on dry skin: the small red spots which appear after epilation show that hair
has been removed correctly; they will disappear quickly.
For this reason it is advisable to use the epilator at night. If necessary apply a soo-
thing cream after epilation. Epilation under water: as epilation under water is gen-
tler, the appearance of the red spots is likely to be much less noticeable, even
more so if you use the rotating massage head (5) (supplied with certain models)
immediately after epilation.
12 - Storage
Switch off the appliance before storing it. If it is not used for some time the batte-
ries will run down and need to be recharged.
13 - In the event of problems
The appliance does not work:
- Check that the mains adaptor is not connected to the appliance.
- Check that the battery is properly charged.
The appliance stops when you are using it:
- Has the battery run down?
- It is normal for the appliance to stop when being used for massage. It is program-
med to stop automatically at the end of the 5 minute massage cycle.
- The appliance will turn itself off automatically after 1 minute if no function has
been selected.
- The appliance will stop if too much pressure is applied to the head.
The appliance does not charge:
- Check that the adaptor is correctly connected to the mains supply and to your
epilator.
- The battery may already be fully charged.
