INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1.

Attach both left and right side rails to the truck bed.  The end of the mounting rail with the drain tube fitting

will go towards the cab of the truck, position flush to bulkhead.

Starting with the center clamp (one of the smaller clamps) install the rail, but do not tighten completely.

Install the other small clamp towards the front of the rail. Install the larger clamp at the rear of the rail, place

the back portion of the clamp into the stake pocket.

For GMC 6.5’ Beds Only - Stick the rubber spacers between the plastic bed rail cap and the bed rail, adjacent to the 

front and center clamps. (Identify the location of the spacers by holding the mounting rail up to the bed rail of the 

truck and marking the location of the clamps on the truck. Pull out on the plastic bed rail cap and slide the the 

spacer in, sticking it to the truck bed.) 

4. Tighten the clamps using a 1/2” socket.

Warning! 

Do not overtighten the clamp 

assembly. A torque wrench is not neces-

sary. If preferred,  torque is apx 120 inch 

lbs.

Warning! 

Clamps must be checked 

periodically for tightness. Failure to do so 

could result in damage to you or your 

property.
