5. Maintenance
5.1 Maintenance
(cleaning/disinfection)
:
•
Clean the handle with a cloth using standard household detergents such as soapy water, but do not use abrasive
or aggressive cleaning agents. Do not use thinner or petrol and do not use detergents that attack plastics.
•
Rinse the handle thoroughly with warm water until all soap and foam residues have been removed. (Otherwise
rust can adhere to the stainless-steel parts.)
•
Keep the rubber pad always free from oil, dust, and dirt by rinsing with warm water and then drying with a lint-free
cloth.
•
A basic cleaning with our special cleaner (order no. 1400677) or isopropyl alcohol will increase the suction effect
and is recommended in larger time intervals (dependent on the frequency and conditions of use, e.g. after use of
bath additives containing oil).
Use these cleaning agents only on the rubber pads but never on the plastic parts.
•
Disinfect the product by wiping all surfaces with a cloth with disinfectant.
•
In a medical environment, also refer to the "Recommendations of the Commission for Hospital Hygiene and
Infection Prevention" on the website of the Robert Koch Institute www.rki.de.
