Mounting the collector
After mounting the flat roof trestle, collectors can be fastened and connected. These tasks for roof mounting are described in
the technical instructions "ROTEX Solaris" in ch. 3.5. That concerns mainly:
• The mounting of the first as well as all other collectors.
• The mounting of the collector temperature sensor as well as the equipotential bonding.
• The roof duct of pipes and the sensor cable.
CAUTION!
The sealing of the flat roof duct (e.g. with bitumen foil) to be made on-site should be carried out implicitly by
a specialist.
Also in great distance from collector field to flat roof duct, a continuous gap must be allowed for roof duct.
The difference to the roof mounting consists simply in the other form of flat roof ducts. Connection cables
CON F (Fig 2-5) and for alternating collector connection CON FE (Fig 2-6) are to be used for this.
