the Communicator (see

). Wrong defenition can result alarms for missing
controllers or prevent communication from unidentefied controllers.

Baud Rate
setting must match all controllers otherwise the communication will not
operate. The default setting is 9600bps (see
Fig. 10
). Make sure the same rate is set to
all controllers both primary and secondary units connected to the communicator.
1.3 Serial Port
The serial port (see
Fig. 11
) connects between the Communicator and the PC
software. The baud rate set must be identical to the one set on the PC communication
software in order to establish communication. The default is also 9600bps. Note that
this is also being used for USB.
