Installation of FAN KIT for RKB Amplifiers
1. Locate and remove the metal plate on the rear panel using
a Philips head screw driver.
2. Insert the four long screws supplied with the fan kit through the
Fan guard and into the fan. Notice the arrow on the top of fan
should point away from the rear panel and that the label on the
fan should be visible through the fan guard. Air is drawn through
the amplifier by the fan and expelled out through the fan guard.
3. Insert the plug attached to the fan into the socket marked
"OPTION RKBF-1 ONLY" the plug will only fit one-way.
4. Now tighten the four Philips head screws holding the fan and the
unit is complete. The fan will only run when the inside temperature
of the amplifier reaches 70C, it will not run all the time.
