Switching off
o
To switch off the heating pad, slide the sliding switch for ON/OFF and temperature
settings to the OFF ( 0 ) position.
o
If the heating pad is not being used for several days, slide the sliding switch for ON/OFF
and temperature settings to the OFF ( 0 ) position and remove the mains plug from the
socket.
o
Then disconnect the controller from the heating pad by unplugging the plug-in cou-
pling.
Automatic switch-off
o
This heating pad switches off automatically after 1,5 hours. Once the heating pad has
switched off, it is no longer heated.
o
To switch on the heating pad again, first set the sliding switch for ON/OFF and temper-
ature settings to the OFF ( 0 ) position for 5 seconds. After about 5 seconds it is possible
to switch it on again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, always remove the mains plug from the socket
first. Then disconnect the controller from the heating pad by un-
plugging the plug-in coupling. Otherwise there is a risk of electric
shock.
The controller must never come into contact with water or other
liquids, as this may cause damage.

To clean the controller, use a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use any chemical or abrasive
cleaning agents.
o
Small marks on the heating pad can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge and, if
necessary, with a little liquid detergent for delicate laundry.
o
The heating pad may be washed by hand according to the instructions on the label.
o
Use a delicate laundry detergent and measure it out according to the manufacturer’s
instructions.
o
Please note that frequent washing of the heating pad has a negative effect on the
product.
