TIPS
o
With this dehydrator you can dry out all foods that are suitable for drying. This does
not just include fruit and vegetables but also meat, herbs, nuts, etc.
o
Wash the food thoroughly beforehand and remove the shell if you want.
o
If you are going to chop up the food to make it smaller, make sure it all ends up
around the same size/thickness. Naturally, the thicker the pieces, the longer it will
take to dry.
o
With food that has a high content of water (e.g. tomatoes, citrus fruit, etc.), you
have to check to make sure that not too much liquid drips onto the motor base. This
could damage it otherwise.
o
Dry the food as much as possible with paper towels before placing it on the tray.
o
Since the temperature in the dehydrator is always constant, the drying time de-
pends on the desired degree of drying. Depending on what kind of food it is, this
can take anywhere from 5 to16 hours.
o
Check the food from time to time to see if it has reached the desired level of drying.
o
Dried food is best stored in a dry, cool and dark place.

CLEANING
o
After each use, the tray(s) must be washed thoroughly in the dishwasher or by hand
with water and washing up liquid and then dried.
o
Simply wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
