Installation Instructions ROTARY inground lifts SL230/SL235/SL2

NAMUR-switch 1
is responsible for the
upper lifting limitation
. As soon as the switch reaches the level of the
basic guide, the lifting will be stopped. This guarantees that the lift doesn´t run against the basic guides. The
distance between the surface of this switch and the basic guide is only appr. 1-2 mm. This switch is pre-adjuseted
ready for use.
NAMUR-switch 2
is responsible for the
CE-Stop
(audible signal) appr. 120 mm above ground level. This switch
runs along a switch rod. As soon as the switch reaches the level of the plastic part of the rod the lowering is
interrupted. This switch is pre-adjusted ready for use. Modification of the level at site is not possible!
The cables of both NAMUR-switches are fixed to the hydraulic hoses with cable ties.
Fig. 12: Both NAMUR-switches are wired
at factory within the motor pump
clamping box ready for use.
Both ends of the cables are clamped within the clamping box of the motor pump ready for use (fig. 12). A shielded
cable (3x0,25 mm
2
) connects both switches from the clamping box to the control box.
5.5 Turn on control
Now turn on the control switching the main key at the control box from position ´0´ to position ´1´. After an
initialization period with acoustic signals the green LED temporarily signs the correct function of the lift (operation
mode). Immediately after this the control changes to the
´stand-by-mode´
indicated by an orange LED.
A short single press to the middle, round function button switches the control back to the operation mode again
(green LED). After approx. 20 seconds without any use the control automatically returns to the ´stand-by-mode´
again (orange LED).
Concerning the software all necessary parameters and settings are done at factory and the control is normally
prepared for use without further adjustments. If necessary you can modify the parameters choosing the suitable
magic-number via the DIP-switches on the circuit board.
5.6 Error reports of control
In case of an error or trouble the electronic control reports it acoustically (signal tone) as well as optically (the now
red LED blinks). The error reports are coded by a sequence of long or short tones (LED signals). The long signals
establish tens unit digits while the short signals show the single digits. We refer to the enclosed list of error codes
for an explanation of the various error codes.
