When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions 

should always be followed, including the following:

To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1.  Do not use this appliance while bathing. 
2.   Do not place or store the charging base where it can fall or be pulled into water or other liquid.
3.   Do not reach for the charging base if it has fallen into water or other liquid. If the charging base 

or cord falls into water or other liquid, unplug it immediately. 

4.   Never use a charging base that has a damaged cord or plug. If damaged, please contact  

DenMat for a replacement charging base.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
1.   Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual or as recommended  

by your dental professional.

2.   This appliance is not to be used or cleaned by children or persons with reduced physical,  

sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been 

given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand 

the hazards involved.

3.   Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is being used or cleaned by children  

or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience  

and knowledge.

4.  Children should be supervised during use and shall not play with this appliance.
5.   Do not use attachments other than those provided or recommended by DenMat. 
6.   This appliance is only to be charged on the charging unit provided. Do not use with any  

other charging base.

7.   The power cord connected to the charging base cannot be replaced. If the power cord is  

damaged, please dispose of the charging base and contact DenMat for a replacement.

8.   Do not plug the cord into an outlet with a voltage other than specified on the bottom of the 

charging base. 

9.  Do not force the plug into an outlet.
10. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. 
11. Never operate this appliance while drowsy. 
12. This appliance is for household use only.
13.  This appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Refer to “Troubleshooting and Customer 

Care” if the appliance no longer works properly. 

MEDICAL WARNINGS

1.  Consult your dental professional before you use this appliance.
2.   Contact your dental professional if prolonged discomfort is experienced during use.
3.   This product complies with the safety standards for electromagnetic devices. If you have a 

pacemaker or other implanted device, contact your physician prior to use.
