Copy MLE
The
Copy MLE
function allows you to copy the contents of an MLE to another MLE location on the
switcher. You can also program a custom control button with a Copy MLE macro. Refer to Chapter 8,
“
Custom Controls Basics
” in the
Synergy Series Installation Guide
, for more information.
Use the following procedure to copy an MLE:
1. Press and
hold
the
BKGD
button in the
destination
MLE’s
Program/Preset Transition
group.
2. Press the
BKGD
button in the
source
MLE. The entire contents of the source MLE are
copied to the destination.
3. Release both buttons.
This completes the procedure to copy an MLE.
Copy MLE Rules
The following rules apply to the “
Copy MLE
” function:
•
The entire MLE is copied, including crosspoints, matte generator values, fader positions,
on-air status, key active status, and key over priorities.
Operation
Tip
All
copy functions use the easy “
Destination - Source
” method, in
which the desired
destination
button is pressed first, followed by the
source button (in the location from which you want to copy). Because
the switcher senses the “held” button (
Destination
), the source button
can be pressed without affecting the on-air status of the switcher.
