STOPPING THE GENERATOR

IN AN EMERGENCY, TURN THE ENGINE SWITCH TO THE OFF
POSITION.
•
Turn the engine switch to the OFF position.
•
In normal use Turn off any connected appliances and
unplug any power tools.
•
Turn the Main AC circuit breaker to the OFF position.
•
Turn fuel valve lever to the CLOSED position.
REMOTE CONTROL FEATURE
NOTE:
Before the remote control feature can be
used the engine switch must be set in the ON posi-
tion.
NOTE
: The remote control can be used to remotely
Start and stop the generator. The remote has a
maximum range of 50 Metres. The actual range will
vary depending on the situation at hand. Obstruc-
tions, position of the generator and condition of the
batteries will effect the performance of the remote.
•
To start the generator press and hold the start
button until the engine starts.
NOTE
: If the engine fails to start after 5 seconds, re-
lease key and wait 10 seconds before attempting to
start again. Cranking the electric starter for more than
5 seconds continuously can overheat and damage the
starter motor.
•
To stop the generator press and hold the stop
button until the generator stops completely.
