Status LEDs on the DAC-8416
The front-edge of the DAC-8416 has LED indicators for communication activity. Basic LED
displays and descriptions are provided in
Table 3.2 LEDs on the DAC-8416

Lock
Green
When lit, this LED indicates a valid AES/EBU input signal.
No Lock
Red
When lit, this LED indicates the absence of a valid AES/EBU
input signal.
EQ
Yellow
When lit, this LED indicates that the cable EQ has been enabled
by pressing
SW1
or that feature has been enabled through
DashBoard.
COM
Activity
Green
When lit, this LED indicates that the DAC-8416 is
communicating with DashBoard.
Error
Red
When lit, this LED indicates an error in the communication
between DashBoard and the DAC-8416.
