Overview
The DAC-8416 AES/EBU Digital to Analog Audio Converter provides a digital to analog audio
conversion along with AES/EBU signal distribution.
The DAC-8416 supports audio sampling frequencies from 30kHz to 192kHz. It converts the
incoming AES/EBU digital audio signal to a stereo analog audio signal using 24bit conversion
technology.
Cable equalization and reclocking techniques enable the DAC-8416 to recover the incoming
digital audio signal reliably.
The DAC-8416 is fully compliant with all openGear technical specifications and supports remote
monitoring via the DashBoard™ Control System.
