7.0 Software Update:
NOTE: This function MUST be used with EXTREME CAUTION. ONLY Software
provided by the Ross Service Centre or downloaded from the Ross.co.uk
Website can be used. Use of other Software may damage your device and
invalidate your warranty. During the UPDATE process DO NOT press any buttons
or switch the unit off.
Watch out for regular software updates at Ross.co.uk.

Procedure:
1.
Load the new software into an empty USB Memory stick. It must be the extracted file,
i.e., xxxxxxx.bin
2.
Press the STANDBY button on the front of the Receiver to put the unit into standby
mode. Insert the USB device in the rear USB Port.
3.
Whilst pressing the CH+ button on the front of the Receiver switch the Receiver back
on using the STANDBY button.
4.
A pop up window will appear on your TV advising that the software is being updated
and displaying a progress bar.
5.
On completion you will be asked to restart the receiver. Switch into STANDBY and
remove the Mains Plug.
6.
Power up the Receiver again and then press the MENU button. Using the CH+-
buttons scroll to the USER SETTINGS menu and press OK. Using the CH+- buttons
scroll down to FACTORY DEFAULT option and press OK. Select DEFAULT ALL and
press OK. You will now be asked to enter your password (Default is 0000) and then
confirm that you wish to proceed by pressing OK. The Receiver will now be reset and
ready to use.
