5.7 Shutting down the power generating set
Caution! Hot parts of the unit can cause flammable and explosive substances to
ignite
• Avoid flammable substances at the place of operation
• Avoid explosive substances at the place of operation
• Let the unit cool off
How to shut down the power generating set:
• Disconnect or switch off consumers
• Let the engine continue to run for about 2 minutes
• Set the main switch to position Igniton OFF after use.
• Shut the fuel tap
• Let the unit cool off
Attention! In case of an emergency, the unit can be stopped by pressing the
emergency stop button Turn the emergency stop button to unlock it in order to put the
power generating set back into operation.
Attention! In rare cases misfires may occur after switching off. Make sure that
there are no persons in the vicinity of the muffler.
5.8 Using special accessories
5.8.1 Refueling set
Preconditions
• Power generating set ready for operation
Caution! Hot parts of the unit can cause flammable and explosive substances to
ignite
• Avoid flammable substances at the place of operation
• Avoid explosive substances at the place of operation
Attention! Leaking engine oil and gasoline contaminates the soil and ground
water
• Do fill fuel cans to the maximum
• Do not spill any fuel
Note: The fuel can may be below the level of the fuel pump at a max. of 0.5 m
Connecting the fuel cans
• Open the cap of the fuel can
• Insert the hose into the fuel can
• Latch the cap of the refueling set onto the fuel can
