Perform the following steps to install the UltraVista SX:
(It is recommended that power to all equipment be turned off)
1- Connect the DVI-D output of the PC to the DVI-D input on the
UltraVista SX or an optional Video splitter input using a
DVI-D MM cable.
2- Connect the four displays to the corresponding DVI outputs (1-4)
on the rear panel of the UltraVista SX unit.
3- Apply power, in this order, to the monitors, UltraVista SX, and
the PC last. (Use only the provided power adapter to apply
power to the UltraVista SX)
With power applied to all equipment, the UltraVista SX will perform a
self test. If the self test is successful, the front panel LCD will
recognize the digital video input.
The UltraVista SX can take any DVI-D video source and display it across
four VGA or DVI screens. Each output screen displays ¼ of the input
image. A DVI to VGA adapter is needed to support analog displays.
Learn Mode
The UltraVista SX can learn and save the specifications of any monitor
connected to the unit, PC or MAC computer.
To enter the “Learn” mode, press and hold down both the Scroll and
Enter buttons on the front panel until the “Setup Menu” displays on the
front panel LCD display.
Pressing the Scroll button (Left button) will cycle through the different
learning options. When the desired option is displayed, press the Enter
button (Right button). This will execute the selection and return the unit
to normal operation.
