To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the unit and the
base into water or any other liquids.

Do not wash the kettle and the base in a dishwashing
machine.

This unit is not intended for usage by children.

Place the unit out of reach of children during the operation
and cooling down.

Do not allow children to touch the unit body and the power
cord during the unit operation.

The unit is not intended to be used by people with physi-
cal, sensory or mental disabilities (including children) or
by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are
not under supervision of a person who is responsible for
their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on
the usage of the unit.

Do not leave children unattended to avoid them using the
unit as a toy.
•
For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene
bags, used as packaging, unattended.
ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene
bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!

Check the power cord, the power plug and the kettle body
integrity periodically.
•
If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar qualified
personnel to avoid danger.
•
Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disassemble the
unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected or after it
was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized
service center from the contact address list given in the
warranty certificate and on the website www.rondell.ru.
•
Transport the unit in the original package only.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children and disabled per-
sons.
THIS UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. ITS
COMMERCIAL USAGE AND USAGE IN PRODUCTION AR-
EAS AND WORK SPACES IS PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature
keep it for at least three hours at room temperature
before switching on.
There may be water spots in the kettle, this is normal,
as the unit has undergone factory quality control.
– Unpack the kettle and remove any advertising stickers
that can prevent the unit operation.
– Check the unit for damages; do not use it in case of
damages.
– Make sure that the unit operating voltage corresponds to
the voltage of your mains.
– The unit is intended for operation with AC system and 50
or 60 Hz frequency. The unit does not need any additional
settings for operating with the required nominal frequency.
– Wipe the outer surface of the flask (1) and the base (8)
with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe them dry.
– Open the upper lid (5) (fig. 4).
– Fill the kettle with water to the «MAX» water level mark in
one of the ways shown in Fig. 1 and 2, using the water level
scale (7) to determine the water level, close the lid (5).
– Plug the power base (8) into the mains - you will hear a
sound, the buttons (10, 11, and 12) backlight and the sym-
bols on the display (9) will start flickering.
– Install the kettle onto the base (8) - the buttons (10, 11,
and 12) will stop flickering and switch off, and the display
(9) will be lit continuously.
– To switch the kettle on, press the button (10) - you will
hear a sound, the display (9) and the buttons (10, 11, and
12) backlight will switch on, and «100°С» will be shown on
the display (fig. 5).
– Press and hold the button (10) for 3 seconds to switch the
kettle off (fig. 6).
– Select the necessary temperature by using the adjuster
(10) (fig. 3).
– After switching the kettle on, press the button (10) again -
you will hear a sound, the display (9) and the buttons (10,
11, and 12) backlight will switch on, the flickering
icon
will be shown on the display, and the kettle will switch into
the water boiling mode.
– When the water has been boiled you will hear a sound, the
kettle and the buttons (10, 11, and 12) backlight will switch
off, and the
icon will disappear from the display.
– Carefully pour out the water, if necessary, boil the water
again.
Notes:
•
When using the kettle make sure that the filter (3) has
been installed and that the lid (5) has been tightly shut.
•
Before removing the kettle from the base (8) make sure
that the kettle has been switched off.
ATTENTION!
To avoid burns by hot steam, do not bend over the kettle
spout (2) while it is operating.
USAGE
– Open the lid (5).
– Fill the kettle with water up to the maximal mark «MAX»,
determine the water level using the water level scale (7),
close the lid (5).
