Indications
- If the humidity setting is higher than the ambient humidity, the unit will not work.
- When dehumidifying, the fan motor and the compressor must run for at least 3 minutes
once the compressor has been started. The compressor must not be restarted within 3
minutes after the appliance has been switched off.
- When the indoor temperature is below 10ºC and the absolute humidity in the room is
low enough, it is not necessary to use the machine.
- The air inlet and outlet must be at least 10 cm away from the wall.
- Try to close the room to improve the dehumidification effect.
- When the appliance operates at low temperature, it interprets the temperature at which
to activate the automatic defrost. When defrosting, the defrosting lights come on, the fan
motor runs but the compressor switches off automatically.
- When the memory key is pressed, the controller stores the current humidity, even if
the appliance is subsequently switched off. The appliance will operate according to the
previous setting modes when it is switched on again.
- The humidity display indicator shows the humidity from 30% to 90%. Keep the unit
unplugged if you do not use it for a long time.
Automatic defrosting
At an ambient temperature below 20°C, condensation water is generated on the cold
surface of the evaporator, which can turn to ice. This ice blocks the exchanger, which
reduces the air flow.
The integrated automatic defrosting system removes the ice from the evaporator, allowing
operation up to an ambient temperature of +5°C.
During defrosting, the defrost indicator light comes on, the compressor continues to run,
the fan stops automatically.
When the defrosting process is completed, the dehumidifier returns to dehumidification
mode and the defrosting indicator light goes out.
Drainage pump
The appliance is equipped with a drainage pump. The pump starts when the inner tank is
full.
Timer
The air dehumidifier is equipped with an operating hours counter.
The number of hours that the appliance was in operation the last time it was used is
displayed after the dehumidifier is switched on.
The time for which the appliance remains switched on will be added to the time already elapsed.
