Mode 1
The Colour Match Panel by ROMPA® lights up all nine rectangular panels in randomly
chosen colours. The colour of each panel then changes slowly, moving through the
spectrum to give a mood lighting effect. The Colour Match Panel by ROMPA® will begin
to play classical music, use the 4 colour push buttons to operate the MP3 player:
RED
=
SKIP BACK
GREEN
=
PLAY (press and hold for about one second)
BLUE
=
STOP
YELLOW
=
SKIP FORWARD.
Mode 2
This mode helps promote colour recognition.The Colour Match Panel by ROMPA®
randomly lights up rectangles in any of the four colours:
RED
GREEN
BLUE
YELLOW
Users are required to match the colour displayed with that of one of the four round
push buttons at the bottom of the panel. Users are rewarded for each button press
with sounds. If the user successfully matches the colour(s) displayed to the
corresponding push button, the light will go out and a positive reward sound will play.
There are 9 Game Levels to work through, each with 5 rounds. The user has to
extinguish all lit rectangles. The colour order is unimportant. A fanfare sounds at the
end of each Level:
Level 1 = 1 rectangle lit up
Level 2 = 2 rectangles lit up
Level 9 = all 9 rectangles lit up
Mode 3
This mode helps promote colour recognition and short-term memory. As in Mode 2, the
Colour Match Panel randomly lights up rectangles in any of the four colours:
RED
GREEN
BLUE
YELLOW
Users are required to match the colour displayed with that of one of the four round
push buttons at the bottom of the panel. Users are rewarded for each button press
with sounds.
To develop short-term memory, in Mode 3 the rectangles are briefly lit and then go out.
The user has to remember the colours displayed: The positive reward sound only plays
once the correct colour button has been pressed.
