USE
Read all the instructions thoroughly before use.
•
This is a high-volume low-pressure pump. It is intended to inflate/deflate items e.g.
inflatable dingy, air mattress, large balls. It is not designed for continuous use. Extended
use over 30 minutes can cause the pump to overheat, causing damage to the pump.
•
For use by a competent adult.
•
Do not obstruct the inflation port
D
/deflation port
E
and keep them well ventilated.
•
For fast inflation and to shorten the amount of time the motor is in operation at one time,
always use the appropriate adapter
C
according to the valve size of the item you are
inflating.
•
Refer to the instructions of the item you are inflating.
•
Use (and store) in dry environments only.
•
Do not allow sand, small stones etc to be sucked into the pump when using the pump.
•
As with most electric air pumps, there is some noise when the pump is in use. This is
normal and to be expected.
To Inflate
•
Plug in at electrical wall socket (AC 230V).
•
Attach
the
adapter
C
to the inflation port
D
through the
connector
A
.
•
Hold the pump against the valve of the inflatable item.
•
Switch on to start inflation (switch to ‘I’).
•
The valve of the inflatable item should not be
obstructed – otherwise it could overheat and damage
the pump.
•
Never use the deflation vent
B
when inflating the item.
•
On large items such as inflatable dingys, king-size air mattresses etc, the pump should fit
directly onto the valve of the inflatable item. Otherwise, use the appropriate adapter
C
for
smaller valves e.g. with balls, single-size air mattresses.
•
For inflatable items with screw-type valves, remove these as necessary.
•
Switch
off
F
(switch to ‘O’) after use.
