following the fixing order given below, peel the backing off the double-sided tape
and carefully align the foam, pressing firmly into place. Take care to correctly
position the foam pieces first time as repositioning can possibly damage the foam.
2.
Dress the base beams before the uprights; here there are two small end pieces, two
short top pieces and two long sides to add. When dressing the base beam ensure
the foam fully covers the bolt heads at the bottom of the upright and add the end
pieces last.
3.
Next pick out four of the long pieces, two wide and two narrow, and dress one of
the uprights. Position the pieces as low as possible so that they are level with the
base beam and press firmly into place ensuring the edges line up flush with the
frame.
4.
Repeat the whole process on the other side and double-check all pieces are sitting
correctly before adding the covers.
TO ATTACH THE COVERINGS
Base Beams
Apply the base beam cover A to one of the base beams by stretching into place, ensuring
the buckles lie on the outside face of the beam. Fasten the join with the Velcro strip
then feed the straps through the buckles to secure in place.
Threading the buckles
First pass the strap upward through both the loops and then double back downwards,
this time only passing through the bottom loop. Simply pull the free end of the strap
downwards to tighten.
Upright Covers (B)
Apply the cover to the adjoining upright. Roughly align the cover so that the flaps are at
the bottom and that the Velcro join is where you prefer. Starting from the bottom,
stretch the cover round and press into place, working slowly upwards. Smooth out any
creases in an upward motion until you reach the top.
It is helpful if you partially secure the cover halfway up the upright using the Velcro strip,
to hold the cover in a better position to get you started.
Once complete, repeat the whole process on the other side and double-check all
coverings are fitted correctly. Your Suspension System is now complete.
