Safety
Over
‐
exposure
to
UV
light
can
cause
eye
problems.
Scientific
studies
have
concluded
that
the
maximum
safe
time
for
exposure
to
ROMPA
®
Ultra
violet
light
sources
is
1
hour
for
adults
and
5
hours
for
children.
However,
this
is
assuming
that
the
UV
light
source
is
at
ceiling
height
when,
because
of
an
adults
greater
height,
they
are
presumed
to
be
nearer
the
source.
If
a
UV
tube
is
ceiling
mounted,
then
this
rule
will
apply.
The
Linelite
Panel
is
wall
mounted
and
shielded
and
will
not
harm
the
eyes
of
anyone
sitting
in
its
vicinity.
However,
if
a
user
is
to
continuously
stand
at
the
light,
then
exposure
should
be
limited
to
one
hour.
Note:
The
output
of
all
ROMPA
®
lights
is
such
that
it
will
not
cause
damage
to
the
skin.
As
a
general
guide
user’s
exposure
should
be
limited
to
1
hour
at
1
metre;
5
hours
at
2.5
metres
