• This electrical appliance complies with the relevant safety standards. If the 

appliance or the power cord show signs of damage, immediately unplug the 

appliance. Repairs may only be carried out by authorised specialist shops or 

by our factory customer service. Improper repairs may result in considerable 

dangers for the user.

Safety advices for the use of the appliance

• Place the appliance on a stable and even surface and do not operate it in the 

vicinity of heat sources (oven, gas flame, etc.) or in explosive environments 

where inflammable liquids or gases are located.

• During operation do not use any objects to stir in the strainer insert and never 

touch the running press cone. To avoid injuries it is imperative to keep away your 

hair, hands and clothes from the running press cone. Never touch the press cone 

directly with your hands.

• Always separate the appliance from the mains supply in case there is no 

supervision and prior to assembly, disassembly, cleaning or longer periods of 

non-use.

• The appliance must be shut off and disconnected from the mains supply before 

replacing accessory or additional parts which are moving during operation. 

• By no means operate the appliance with an external timer or a separate 

telecontrol system.

• Never run the appliance in no-load operation nor handle it with wet hands.

• Only use the original accessory parts.

• For turning off the appliance safely, pull the mains plug after each use.
