Detachable grill plates
Grill positions
This grill is perfect for contact grilling, flat surface grilling, gratinating and toasting. It features
the optimum grill position for each way of preparation:
Attention!
Before attaching or detaching the grill plates, let the unit cool down and
disconnect it from the mains.
• Open up the grill completely (pos. C).
• For detaching the plate, push the lateral release button (6) or (12) until the plate disengages.
Then lift and take it off.
• See for a correct mounting when inserting the plates! The plates are appropriately marked
with “lower plate” and “upper plate”
• For inserting the plates, position both detents of the plate in the intended holders at the grill.
Shortly push the unlock button (6) or (12) and at the same time press the plate downwards
until it clinches audibly.
• See to it that the grill plates sit properly.
Pos. A - Contact grilling
Basic position

NOTE:
In this position best grilling results can be achieved.
Pos. B - Gratinating

ATTENTION:
Never use the unit with upper grill plate in
upright position!
Danger of overheating and damage of the plastic handles!
