processes.
!
The appliance is equipped with several safety functions so that the motor will not suffer any damage in
case of overheating resp. blockade of the stirrer.
°
Overheating:
The appliance switches off in case of motor overheating. After cooling down, the

“start/pause”.
1.) Preparing the appliance for operation
• Place the empty and dry freezer bowl
for at least 12 hours
in a 4-star freezer compartment at
- 18 °C
. Please pay increased attention that the freezer bowl is placed upright and horizontally to
allow the coolant inside to distribute evenly.
•
Tip:
We recommend to store the freezer bowl permanently in the freezer so that you always can start
ice cream making without a long waiting time beforehand. Use the provided lid to protect the bowl
against soiling.
• Prepare the raw ice cream mixture in a separate, clean bowl and pre-chill it in the refrigerator for at
least 2 to 3 hours. The temperature of the mixture should not exceed 2 - 4 °C. Observe the maximum
filling quantity of 500 ml.

Do not pour hot liquids into the freezer bowl. Too large differences in temperature between
freezer bowl and contents may cause damage to the freezer bowl.
• Always unplug the appliance before assembly.
• Insert the motor unit into the upper part of the casing and press it down until it clicks into place.
• Insert the stirrer into the opening of the motor block until it stops.
• Don´t take the frozen freezer bowl out of the freezer and insert it into the base of the casing until
immediately before using the appliance.
