Pump Replacement 

Units Manufactured After May 26, 2015 

NOTE: If water is not disconnected, turn off the water hose.   

NOTE:  Do not allow the pump to run without water in the reservoir.  Without 

water, the pump may be damaged. 

Removing Pump 

1.

 

Before removing pump, ensure electrical power has 
been disconnected and water supply is turned off 
and/or removed.

Remove the Pads. See manual  
4801-5035 PolarCool User’s Manual for more 
information. 

3.

 

Remove the Control Panel and lay it as shown in 
Illustration 1. The Control Panel is attached to the 
unit with four (4) allen screws. See manual 4801-
5035 PolarCool User’s Manual for more information. 
Use a protective cover between the touch pad and 
unit side.

Disconnect the Black, Green and White wires of the 
Pump cable on the Control Panel as shown in 
Diagram 1.

From the interior of the unit, loosen the cable gland on the 
junction box and remove the old Pump cable. See Illustration 
2.

Disconnect All Power Sources Before Installing This Equipment! Failure To  

Disconnect Power Source Can Result In Property Damage, Serious Injury Or Death!
