6.1 Updating R&S Trusted Disk
You need the following files to update R&S Trusted Disk:

Updated
vc_redist.x64 VS2017.exe
and
vc_redist.x86 VS2017.exe
●
Updated
CardOS_API_Setup.exe
●
Updated
TrustedWorkstationAgentSetup X.X.X.msi
●
Updated
R&S TDCryptoHelper Setup X.X.X-VS-NfD.exe
●
Updated
R&S Trusted Disk Setup X.X.X-VS-NfD.msi
Before updating R&S Trusted Disk, make sure that all CA certificates are valid (i.e. not
expired).
If you use intermediate CAs, all CA certificates of the chain, including the root CA cer-
tificate, must be present in the
CACerts
folder (see Chapter 4.3 ).
1. Update the middleware and dependencies.
a) Execute
vc_redist.x64 VS2017.exe
.
b) Execute
vc_redist.x86 VS2017.exe
.
c) Execute
CardOS_API_Setup.exe
.
d) Execute
TrustedWorkstationAgentSetup X.X.X.msi
.

NOTICE! Do not restart. After updating R&S TD CryptoHelper, do not restart the
workstation.
Update R&S
TD CryptoHelper.
a) Execute
R&S TDCryptoHelper Setup X.X.X-VS-NfD.exe
.
b) Follow the instructions of the installer.
c) If prompted, decline a restart.
Note: The R&S Trusted Disk installer checks for the required version of
R&S TD CryptoHelper. If R&S TD CryptoHelper is not updated, and error message
is displayed and the R&S Trusted Disk update fails.
Updating R&S Trusted Disk
