To complete the full-disk encryption, restart the workstation.
After a restart, the workstation displays the pre-boot authentication screen. After a
successful authentication, the workstation boots and the selected partitions are
encrypted.

Boot manager tool (UEFI/GPT)

Disk is delivered with a boot manager tool, a command-line application to
configure the UEFI pre-boot authentication. You can execute the tool as an EXE file in
Windows or as an EFI file in an UEFI shell.

InstallSBM.exe
InstallSBM.exe
can be executed with administrator rights in Windows.
The tool is located at
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sirrix AG\TrustedDisk\InstallSBM.exe
.
5.2.2
InstallSBM.efi
InstallSBM.efi
can be executed before Windows boots, i.e. you need to access
the UEFI and execute
InstallSBM.efi
in an UEFI shell.
You have the following three options to start the UEFI shell:

The UEFI has a built-in shell that can be executed through the UEFI or the boot
menu
●
The UEFI allows loading
InstallSBM.efi
by selecting its location

The UEFI loads
bootx64.efi
located at
EFI/Boot
from FAT32 partitions
The UEFI shell is located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sirrix AG\TrustedDisk\Bootloader\
Shell64.efi
Please note that this location can only be accessed if the hard disk drive has not
been encrypted yet.
